Class 8 pupil commits suicide after she was banned from wearing mini skirts.

Residents from Chelekeyi Village in Kimilili, Bungoma County were on Sunday given a shock of a lifetime after a standard 8 girl took her life just because her mother had banned her from wearing miniskirts while going to church.
17 year old Nekesa Kuloba was urged by the mother not to wear a miniskirt while going to the Sunday mass on 5th June and her Mother Mrs Kuloba left for church hoping that her daughter would change from the attire she had worn and follow her to church.
Upon reaching home after church Mrs Kuloba found her daughter lying unconscious and upon taking her to a nearby clinic the doctors discovered that the 17 year old had consumed a toxicant substance that was later confirmed it was an insecticide used on cattle.
Nekesa did not survive the poisoning and her body was taken to dream land Missionary Hospital for preservation.
